Channel Size
We believe that some big channels are better and more sustainable than many small channels.
We only accept channels >= 3,000,000 sats but suggest you open channels between 5,000,000 and 10,000,000 sats.
Fee Policy
We want to have low fees so everyone can make cheap payments. If possible we try to have zero fees.
But when liquidity goes out too quickly, we must increase our outbound fees to some channels to balance against the small income liquidity.
Keeping fees low for channels where liquidity is on the other side harms the network, so we discourage routing via these channels by increasing fees.
We run a custom script to change outbound fees automatically, based on liquidity and flow.
Uptime
Please only create a public channel to our node if you plan to be always online.
Channels with much downtime will be closed.
